The Associate will support the insurance regulatory team with policy analysis and engagement. In collaboration with the team, the Associate will be responsible for tracking and helping to analyze individual transactions for insurance regulatory issues. The Associate will monitor all relevant insurance regulatory developments in the US and globally and communicate same to the insurance regulatory team.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a system to track investments and assist the team in analyzing investments for alignment with insurance regulatory rules.

  • Ensure continuous monitoring and evaluation of all US and global regulatory changes affecting Blackstone’s insurance business

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience with structured securities and/or insurance regulation

  • Strong professional integrity and highly motivated

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proactivity and resourcefulness; able to multi-task and focus on delivering results

  • A track record in successful relationship-building with internal and external audiences

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex technical information into clear messages that resonate with internal stakeholders

  • Ability to be credible and persuasive when working with internal and external stakeholders

  • Resilience and diplomacy; the ability to manage tensions to achieve outcomes that work for all parties

Expected annual base salary range:

$85,000 - $135,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
