The Opportunity: 

As a network engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience in advanced networking technologies to support the nation’s defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You’ll design and implement computer and information networks such as LAN, WAN, intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks. You'll perform network emulation and virtualization analysis, planning, and modeling to include analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures. You'll design network and computer security measures. You'll install and upgrade systems software and maintain software configuration management. You'll also research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.

You Have:

• 3 years of experience designing, installing, and configuring computer networks

• Knowledge of computer networking principles, routing, and switching protocols

• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science

• DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 or higher compliant baseline cybersecurity certification

 

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
