Key Role:

Identify and win executable business for government clients by applying expertise across the business development lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through strategic capture and proposal and development. Leverage senior-level leadership and extensive community relationships within an industry based in defense industry and government clients. Lead capture for complex and technical bids, including identifying and comprehending clients’ requirements and buying patterns, developing complex technical solution options, and building a differentiated team that can deliver client impact through a winning bid. Drive market-based competitive intelligence, market assessments, client assessments, and strategic planning efforts in support of expanding specific client-based opportunity portfolios and pipelines. Manage key stakeholder relationships, keep the business leadership team informed, and engage in advancing strategic partnerships with clients and industry partners.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience leading very large captures and developing complex technical solutions supporting bids for DoD and civilian clients in excess of $400M within the last 3 years

• 3 years of experience with the direct management of complex solutions and development capture efforts for defense community and government clients

• Experience with successful execution of all phases of a large and multi-year capture effort, including strategic planning, teaming, proposals, market, or competitive and price-to-win analyses

• Experience briefing senior executives and government clients

• Ability to quickly demonstrate strong leadership throughout the capture process for internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

• Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience leading and winning complex Assisted Acquisition Service captures and driving proposal submissions such as FEDSIM or FLEX SDM

• Experience developing and maintaining effective internal and external business relationships with clients and industry partners

• Experience with the business development lifecycle and solution selling methodologies

• Ability to communicate multi-step and interdependent activities effectively to capture teams and ensure efficient execution of captured efforts

• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $139,400.00 to $259,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
