The Opportunity:

As an Instructional Designer in the Delivery Hub, you’ll design impactful and transformational training initiatives to meet business needs and ensure our operations are effective, efficient, timely, and scalable by supporting the Business Services Team. It requires someone who is dedicated to identifying challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams, mitigating risks, and supporting a team with vision and focus.

You will be supporting Delivery Hub internal training activities by developing training for new hires and existing staff on policies, procedures, systems, and tools. This role will develop a variety of training programs with flexibility to accommodate either classroom, virtual, or self-paced instruction. You will develop and manage training that meets learners’ needs and reinforces objectives. Additionally, you will monitor learner progress and instructional programs by measuring outcomes, producing metrics, iterating, and improving training results. 

What You’ll Work On:

• Partner with Business Services leaders, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to identify training needs and implement transformative training to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of Business Services Team functions
• Develop training courses for new team functions and drive improvements across the Business Services Team
• Track training project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Assist with special projects to enhance Delivery Hub educational programs
• Build strong relationships with teammates and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for transformation initiatives

You Have:

• 5 years of experience designing or developing classroom, virtual instructor-led, or self-paced training courses
• 1 years of experience with a platform, such as Articulate 360
• 1 years of experience engaging with stakeholders to conduct learning needs assessments to tailor training to a target audience 
• Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders 
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to quickly adjust to changing circumstances, embrace new ideas, and navigate uncertainty during the transformation process
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience developing training in a Help Desk or Contact Center environment
• Experience with transformation efforts
• Experience managing projects
• Knowledge of Degreed skill plans and pathways
• Ability to work under pressure
• Possession of excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
