Your technical expertise will be vital as you evaluate and modernize Global Positioning Systems (GPS). You’ll develop your skills in developing and acquiring space systems while gaining experience with delivering sustained, reliable GPS capabilities to America’s warfighters, our allies, and civil users. You Have: 

• 10 years of experience in space systems engineering, integration, and testing

• 10 years of experience in launch and mission integration activities for space programs, including space vehicle transportation, launch readiness planning, and mission analysis

• Experience in developing integrated plans and schedules, managing giver and receivers, and managing risks for space programs

• Knowledge of launch vehicle to space vehicle interface definition, testing, and verification

• Ability to lead and participate in cross-functional team meetings and task execution across systems engineering and integration activities

• Ability to be highly motivated, display a dynamic work ethic, and contribute to the DoD mission

• Ability to communicate effectively and establish collaborative relationships with government clients and contractor teammates

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science

Nice If You Have: 

• 15 years of experience in space systems engineering, integration, and testing

• 15 years of experience in launch and mission integration activities for space programs

• Experience with collaboration tools, including Confluence or Jira

• Experience performing multiple systems engineering and program management functions

• Knowledge of GPS space, ground, or user segment

• Knowledge of DoD acquisition lifecycle milestones and DoD systems engineering, test, and production policies, standards, and practices

• Possession of excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

• Top Secret clearance

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science

• Professional certifications, such as PMP, ESEP, CSEP, or OCSMP

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
