About the Role:
As Resource Manager, you will oversee resource allocation and optimize utilization across projects and departments. Your expertise in resource planning and management will be crucial for efficient project delivery and achieving organizational goals. As Human Resources Manager, you will build upon our history of engaged and productive employees by managing key HR functions, including onboarding, benefits administration, compensation, rewards, and conflict resolution. Responsibilities:
Resource Management:
- Analyze project demands, resource availability, and constraints to develop effective resource allocation plans.
- Collaborate with project managers, department heads, and stakeholders to understand resource requirements and project timelines.
- Develop and implement resource planning strategies that align resource allocation with project demands and organizational goals.
- Optimize resource utilization by identifying and resolving conflicts, bottlenecks, or imbalances in resource allocation.
- Maintain accurate resource records and documentation, including resource schedules, utilization reports, and allocation decisions.
- Monitor resource utilization trends and make proactive adjustments to ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Conduct regular assessments of resource performance, productivity, and capacity to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams in resource-related matters, including staffing, skill requirements, and resource acquisition.
Human Resource Management:
- Support departments in developing and delivering strategic HR plans aligned with overall business direction.
- Plan, monitor, and appraise HR activities, including scheduling management conferences, resolving employee grievances, training managers in coaching and discipline, and counseling employees and supervisors.
- Champion a high-quality, up-to-date onboarding process that provides clarity and connection for employees, aligning their roles with the overall business vision.
- Maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
- Build strong relationships with external suppliers, fostering trust and promoting collaboration.
- Handle confidential matters with discretion.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, project management, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in resource management or a related role, preferably in a project-based environment.
- Strong understanding of resource planning, allocation, and optimization principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in using resource management software and tools to track, analyze, and report on resource utilization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess resource demands and optimize resource allocation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented mindset to maintain accurate resource records and documentation.
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
