What Retail Pharmacy - Nonexempt contributes to Cardinal Health
Cardinal Health Retail Pharmacy is currently searching for a highly energetic pharmacy technician to join our Cardinal Health at Home pharmacy team. The pharmacy technician is responsible for answering the telephone, handling calls from customers and assisting pharmacists with order entry operations.
Responsibilities
- Handles inbound patient calls
- Responsible for patient enrollment
- Benefits investigation and insurance verification
- Referral order triage
- Prescription order entry
- Knowledge and understanding of retail pharmacy
- Excellent customer service skills
Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- Previous work experience required (minimum 2 years retail/ long term care) preferred
- Strong Customer service skills
- Active Registered Technician in OHIO (must provide registration #) preferred
