Overview
We are a small, local bike shop seeking a, reliable, and skilled bike technician to handle basic bike repairs. This position involves diagnosing and repairing bikes, interacting with customers, and ensuring high-quality service. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cycling and a basic understanding of bike mechanics.
Responsibilities
- Basic Repairs: This includes tasks like fixing flat tires, adjusting brakes, tuning gears, replacing worn-out parts (chains, tires, etc.), and performing general maintenance.
- Assist customers with inquiries related to services.
Requirements:
- Experience with basic bike repairs (1 year preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 21 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
