What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Sales Associate position at 7-11 Convenience Store?
We are seeking cashiers to work evening, weekends, and night shifts at our Arlington 7-11 store. You are the person who greets and helps customers in our store and are the most important person in the organization. You are the face of our company. We rely on you to provide outstanding service; maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment; stock and merchandise products; and, naturally, operate the point-of-sale system. There is plenty of opportunity to gain experience and growth in this position and succeed as an Assistant Store Manager or Store Manager.
What might you do as a Cashier/Sales Associate?
- Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous customer service
- Drive sales through effective communication with customers
- Maintain a clean, customer friendly environment in your franchisee’s store
- Ring sales and maintain cash control
- Perform all regular cleaning activities, and other tasks included in your job assignments
- Forecast, order, and stock merchandise (with appropriate training)
While physical requirements for store employees may change depending on the store, the position typically requires constant standing, bending, reaching, frequent lifting of 1-5lbs, and occasional lifting of up to 40 -50lbs.

BP, Exxon, Mobil, Shell, Sunoco, Citgo, 7-11, and Corner Mart stores. We have popular food offerings such as Subway, Dunkin Donuts, and Krispy Krunchy Chicken.
