Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY:
Lead the Merchandise Analytics and Insights team providing verification and recommendation to Merchandising,
Operations, and Marketing teams on business performance. Responsible for overall stewardship and integrity of
Merchandise Data and Reporting to drive sales and margin results for the company.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Lead Strategic Vendor Management team including conducting cross-functional annual Joint Business Planning
cycle for Merchandising vendors
Lead team of 10-15 analysts supporting Merchandising insights and recommendations for category across all
revenue and margin levers (e.g., promotional analysis, category scorecards, vendor performance, etc)
Support Operations verification of Merchandising strategy
Drive overall Merchandising strategy and business cadence (weekly reviews, monthly scorecards)
Provide stewardship and serve as trustee over Merchandise data including definitions, source data, and
standardized reporting
Identify and drive opportunities to improve process, reports and facilitation of insights for Merchandising
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 10 years
YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 2 years
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES: NA
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Strong data and analytics skills using tools (e.g., Databricks, C-Shopper, PowerBI, Excel)
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and expert in PowerPoint
Experienced Project Management skills
Ability to influence others within and across the organization
