About these Opportunities: 7-Eleven Inc. has several opportunities for 2024 Summer Internships. Each internship opportunity will occur during the summer months, (10-12 weeks), focused on a specific functional area, and will provide the candidate with a depth experience within the area, culminating in a project presentation to functional leaders. Each intern will work closely with a coach who will meet regularly to discuss project progress, provide direction and ongoing feedback. In addition, each intern will attend a lunch series which will provide a cross-functional view into the organization and give the interns exposure to senior leadership. The interns will also have the experience of touring a store and learning about our distribution systems.

Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Perform strategic analysis and reporting for assigned projects that support the entire enterprise. Work with the team to identify strategic business needs, challenges, and opportunities. Determine business roadmap and provide support in business planning.
- Strategic Analysis: Dive into the heart of 7-Eleven's business goals, engaging in comprehensive Competitive Strategic Analysis (CSA) and understanding the overarching objectives that drive our industry-leading convenience store brand.
- Project Management: Gain hands-on experience in execution and management by collaborating with our Project Management Office (PMO) on a specific, impactful project, applying theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios.
- Holistic Exposure: This role offers a unique blend of strategic planning and practical project execution, providing a well-rounded experience that bridges the gap between high-level strategy and on-the-ground implementation.
Skill Development & Mentorship: Receive guidance and mentorship from seasoned professionals in both strategy and project management, enhancing your skills and understanding of both fields, with opportunities for networking and professional growth within the company.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- MBA/ Masters in relevant field in progress (Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, and other quantitative fields)
- 2 to 5 years of work experience preferred.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with strong decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills (statistical knowledge required for most internships).
- Attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
