Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate is a reliable person, that has Friday and Saturday available. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth checkout experience for our customers in a fast-paced retail environment, and you will be stocking merchandise, amongst other tasks assigned by the manager. Hours are from 10 pm to 6 am. Part time and full time available. Pay is $18/hr.
Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and handle all transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, checking and stocking merchandise.
- Process sales transactions efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
- Manage cash, credit, and debit transactions, ensuring all funds are accounted for at the end of each shift.
- Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining product displays to enhance sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with team members
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is advantageous.
