This position involves driving a company vehicle, within a 75 mile radius, providing repair, replacement, and preventative maintenance support to all of the car wash locations. Our headquarters and home base is located in Vallejo, CA. The car washes are mainly located in Vallejo, Fairfield, and Vacaville, and one location in Citrus Heights.

All new members of our maintenance team will receive extensive paid partnership training to best understand car wash equipment and maintenance.
We are looking for an industrial maintenance technician that has strength in the electrical wiring of buildings, machinery, and equipment. As a member of our maintenance team, you are responsible for the upkeep of car wash equipment and machinery so it functions safely, reliably, and efficiently for operations to perform at their highest level. You will also be responsible for supporting our good manufacturing practices (GMP) and safety programs, to maintain an environment that is both clean and safe.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have at least 5 years of combined professional experience performing maintenance on buildings, equipment, and machinery.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience making repairs and adjustments to machinery to repair or replace defective components.
- Must have at least 5 years of experience with maintaining proper machinery lubrication including checking lubricant levels applying appropriate amount of grease to lubricated points
- Must have at least 2 years of experience making major electrical repairs
- Must have at least 3 years of experience maintaining and servicing building equipment (such as HVAC, lighting, water, sewer, etc.)
- Must have at least 2 years of experience dismantling machinery and equipment
- Must have at least 1 year of experience troubleshooting and repairing pumps
- Must have at least 1 year of experience with PLC’s (programmable logic controller)
- Must have at least 1 year of experience performing pipe fitting tasks unassisted
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must be insurable to drive for a company
- Accurately read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Comprehend instruction manuals for equipment operations and maintenance
- Physically lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Industrial, electrical, or welding certifications, and/or a post-secondary technical degree.
- 2 years of experience with hydraulics
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or distributing environment.
- Familiarity operating shop tool equipment and machines related to maintenance
- Ability to work within a team
- Understands intermediate electrical and pneumatic diagrams, familiar with 12 VDC to 480 VAC electrical wiring or circuits and capable of diagnosing 115 VAC control circuitry
- Conducts preventative maintenance tasks in a timely manner to insure operation of all equipment, in an efficient and safe manner
- Ability to demonstrate a high sense of urgency so that all repairs minimally impact business and production
