Job Description:
Join a dynamic team as a Pharmacist with a respected six-hospital network serving northern New York and Vermont. The client provides compassionate, expert healthcare to rural communities, ensuring quality care is delivered close to home. Our services range from 24-hour emergency care to comprehensive cardiovascular and cancer services. As a staff pharmacist, you will play a vital role in preparing and dispensing medications for both inpatient and outpatient care.
Signing Bonus:
A $15,000 signing bonus will be offered, paid in three installments over two years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies for inpatient and outpatient care.
- Ensure the accuracy of prescriptions and maintain compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide medication consultations to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to optimize patient treatment plans.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS Pharmacy).
- Registered Pharmacist in NY State (or ability to obtain licensure).
- Minimum of 2 years of Hospital Pharmacy experience.
- Willingness to work the evening shift (Primary shift: 2:30 PM to 11 PM).
- Ability to work onsite in Pittsburg, NY.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):
- Residency training experience.
- Experience with Epic systems.
- Retail pharmacy experience.
Shift Information:
- Primary shift: 2:30 PM – 11 PM.
- Secondary shifts: 1 PM – 9:30 PM, and 7 AM – 3:30 PM.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
Salary : $126,000 - $180,000
