The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing comprehensive executive support services to the United States Space Force (USSF) Space Systems Command (SSC). Prepares reports, papers, and briefings, proofreads correspondence, answers telephones, and responds to routine queries. Assists in coordinating travel arrangements, manages action items and responses, and provides recommendations on administrative processes and procedures. This full-time position is required to be 100% on-site at the Peterson SFB.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- Associate's degree, Bachelor’s preferred, with five (5) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education/experience.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provides executive support services to senior leaders, including preparing reports, papers, and briefings. Handles correspondence, proofread incoming/outgoing messages, and responds to routine queries. Supports travel arrangements for the Director and Deputy Director and assists in coordinating and monitoring action items and responses.
- Provides recommendations on administrative processes and procedures and prepares agendas, reports, and briefings for high-level program meetings.
- The Executive Assistant (EA) provides Directorate-level front office support to assigned Program Support Managers (PSMs), System Program Directors (SPDs) and personnel.
- Maintains and coordinates recall rosters for the use of automated and manual desktop systems, communications, and applications. Develops and prepares a variety of electronic correspondence (i.e. formal letters, position papers, reports, staff studies, staff summary packages, briefings, charts, bullet background papers, etc.).
- Updates and manages administering databases, performs accurate and immediate file processing and management, manages the suspense tracking and reporting database.
- Captures and publishes meeting minutes. Schedules and prepares conference rooms to include reserving conference rooms, opening and preparing conference rooms for meetings, making teleconference connections, gathering all VTC info as necessary for connection.
- Creates seating charts, prints and places nametags, prints copies of briefings, or other conference preparations as required.
- Provides protocol support assistance with distinguished government and industry visitors to leadership to include obtaining security badges and providing escort services. Supports the unit with official exercise and real-world personnel accountability and reporting processes and performs other administrative support duties as directed.

Associate's degree, Bachelor’s preferred, with five (5) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education/experience.

The estimated pay range for this role is $26.41 to $29.47, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
