The Library Services Coordinator will work alongside staff from various business units within KidneyCo to provide dedicated library and research support for the Vantive community to deliver targeted, accessible information management services. This will include, but is not limited to the following activities:
- Serve as point of contact for internal users for Library Services inquiries and password reset requests
- Maintain internal Library Services web site
- Serve as point of contact for vendors
- Track data on journal usage and document delivery
- Maintain subscriptions and negotiate and process renewals. Manage and evaluate journal and publisher subscriptions to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
- Conduct user training on Library Web site and associated functionalities
- Work collaboratively with functional subject matter experts (SMEs) to prepare and improve templates, tools, and standard procedures related to library services and understand user needs
What you'll bring:
- BS/BA degree in life sciences or similar discipline
- 1-2 years’ experience in healthcare or life sciences industry, preferred
- Superior customer-focus and collaboration skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, required
- Problem solving and analytical skills required, project management skills a plus
- Ability to work independently, expand knowledge and adapt to an increasingly complex environment.
- Sound knowledge of computer software, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows environment
