Spa Supervisor

Initial Phone Interview Required: Monday - Friday, 10 am - 1 pm

The second interview will be live and offered by appointment.

Requirements:

• Applicants must live on the island and have reliable transportation.
• A flexible schedule is required, with availability for:
• Morning shifts: 8 AM – 1 PM
• Afternoon shifts: 1 PM – 7 PM
• Weekends and all major holidays (availability does not guarantee scheduling).
• Sunday availability is mandatory from 9 AM – 7 PM.

As part of our locally owned, growing family business, you will help coordinate a healing environment that supports both our clients and staff’s wellness journeys. In this role, you will oversee three South Maui locations, manage Front Desk operations, collaborate with lead team members, oversee employees, and work with wellness contractors.

Our Current Opportunity: Spa Supervisor

Responsibilities: What to Expect – What Will I Be Doing?

This position provides direct administrative support to the Owner of the Company and serves as the liaison between leadership, lead team members, and staff. We are looking for a creative problem-solver who can adapt quickly to changing circumstances while maintaining a calm and professional presence.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Handling general administrative, receptionist, and project-based tasks.
• Overseeing day-to-day spa operations, including:
• Client check-in & check-out
• Managing client forms and communication
• Supervising and supporting the spa team
• Handling payment collection & processing
• Retail sales assistance
• Maintaining office cleanliness & organization
• Managing client communications & resolving issues professionally and efficiently.
• Ensuring 808 Wellness procedures and protocols are kept current and followed.
• Using initiative and sound judgment to coordinate tasks and achieve company goals.
• Providing guidance & support to less experienced team members.
• Utilizing strong written and verbal communication skills in all interactions.

Schedule & Availability:

• Must be available for at least one weekend shift.
• Flexibility to work additional hours, including coverage for sick days, vacation days, and holidays, as needed.

Employment Type:

• Part-time (20-25 hours/week) to start, with the opportunity to grow into full-time based on performance.
• Training period: Estimated 4-6 weeks.

Compensation:

• $20 per hour to start (DOE), with room for growth and salary potential.
• Hourly rate increase based on performance after a 90-day probationary period.
• Quarterly Bonus Pay if performance targets are met.
