This is an individual contributor role, and the candidate is expected to be a self-starter, working effectively in a distributed team environment.
Product Marketing Responsibilities
Craft product marketing strategies and plans
Significant content authoring - Formulate value propositions and develop customer-facing presentations, collateral, videos, and sales tools
Incorporate competitive positioning into product marketing content
Guide product management team on creation of technical content
Structure quantitative analysis of product and account performance
Drive account-based marketing tactics
Assist field and channels based on marketing plans
Continually learn about the IT industry and Broadcom portfolio
Product Marketing Requirements
Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in a business, marketing, or technology field
Thought leader with domain expertise
Adept at strategic planning and execution
Demonstrates strong writing and presentation skills
Ability to effectively convey information and collaborate with a wide variety of internal stakeholders (marketing, product management, sales, support, and development) and external audiences (customers, agencies, and partners)
Understands business concepts and can refine and then resolve ambiguous problems or issues
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
Strong analytical skills – applied to data-driven decision making
Participates well in teams and uses basic skills to influence team members
Ability to negotiate at a cross-functional level; is willing to give and receive feedback
Shows initiative and leadership commensurate with the scope of their responsibilities
12 years of experience in technology marketing, product management, or sales
Knowledge: Having broad expertise or unique domain knowledge, uses skills to contribute to the development of company objectives and principles, and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.
Job Complexity: Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Creates formal networks involving coordination among groups.
Supervision: May supervise the activities of others.
Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience. At this level, postgraduate coursework may be expected.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $118,000 - $189,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
