POSITION TITLE: IT Specialist
DEPARTMENT: MVI Field Services
REPORTS TO: IT Director
DESCRIPTION: The successful applicant will possess a strong background in customer service and technical support, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile devices, computer management, and various operating systems. This role is essential in ensuring that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently, providing support to our users and maintaining optimal performance across all systems.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Experience in IT support or a similar role is preferred
- Experience with mobile devices, including Android and iPhones
- Experience with Apple and PC Devices
- Proficient in Office 365 including Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, and OneDrive
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to diagnose technical issues effectively
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly in English
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing outstanding service
- Must complete a pre-employment background check
- Be in possession of a valid U.S. driver’s license
- Keen attention to detail
- Great organization, time management and prioritization
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to visit other corporate office locations (TN & OH)
- Maintain a professional appearance
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide exceptional customer service while assisting users with IT-related inquiries and issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to mobile devices, computers, and operating systems
- Manage computer networking tasks, ensuring connectivity and performance across the organization
- Analyze system performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Communicate effectively with team members and end-users to facilitate problem resolution
- Support the deployment and management of Android and Apple devices within the company
