LBMC Compensation Valuation Analyst will focus on healthcare compensation valuation services and other analyses/consulting for various physician related arrangements, an area in which LBMC has an extensive history and growing valuation practice. Valuation engagements may include physician employment and practice valuation, on-call agreements, medical directorships, management and co-management agreements, leasing and joint venture arrangements, and various independent contractor arrangements. Candidates will receive extensive training and on-the-job experience in performing diversified engagements.
SCOPE OF WORK
- Act as an analyst and/or consultant serving attorneys, hospitals and other healthcare clients with their valuation, operational and strategic projects
- Review and analysis of agreements and other legal documentation
- Perform valuation modeling and development
- Direct client communication including initial interviews, follow up, status reporting and client deliverables
- Conduct ad hoc research and data analysis
- Prepares for and completes CPA examination, ABV, ASA, CHFP or other certifications as applicable.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field with strong GPA/proof of academic excellence
- Strong MS Excel and Word skills. Ability to use/learn CRM, STAR, CaseWare, Smartsheet and other similar supporting tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with a team, to provide high level customer service to clients and/or general project stakeholders
- Demonstrable understanding of the complex healthcare industry and physician practices a plus, but not required
