Senior Accountant
This is a full-time hybrid role located in Brentwood, TN for a Senior Accountant at LBMC W Squared. LBMC W Squared is a premier provider of outsourced accounting solutions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and more. Our comprehensive suite of services and experienced staff provide scalable corporate back-office support that meets the needs of businesses of all sizes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
· 3-5 years of accounting experience
Location
· Brentwood, TN - Hybrid 2 days in office 3 days remote
Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Managing and reviewing work of Staff Accountant(s), if applicable
- Maintaining daily task lists for your team and communicating status in weekly meetings
- Supervising and owning the monthly close process
- Preparing standard and/or nonstandard journal entries as appropriate
- Maintaining and providing monthly close checklist(s) to the client(s)
- Reconciling/analyzing of general ledger accounts
- Preparing and reviewing monthly financial packages at a detail level
- Assisting with cash flow forecasting, if necessary
- Assisting with budgeting / pro formas, if necessary
- Assisting with research of accounting guidance as necessary
- Other tasks assigned by the Controllers or CFO
