Senior Accountant

Position Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Onsite (Daily)

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting the financial health of the organization through accurate general ledger management, financial reporting, forecasting, and cost control. This role plays a key part in financial planning, performance analysis, and maintaining internal controls. The Senior Accountant also serves as a trusted partner to operational leadership, offering insights and solutions to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and forecasts
• Develop tools to monitor business performance and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Track and optimize cash flow, especially inventory-related metrics, to support profitability
• Ensure accuracy of general ledger transactions and adherence to internal controls
• Present financial performance updates and forecasts to senior leadership
• Maintain and improve financial models for forecasting and inventory planning
• Refine and uphold standard costing processes
• Support pricing updates and profitability analysis for products and services
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial projects
• Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives, including new business analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with financial modeling preferred
• Experience with ERP systems; QAD experience is a plus
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and accountability
