We are a sales-driven organization, and our customers are looking to automate more and more of their processes to keep pace with their competitors in the semiconductor, medical, biotech, and general automation space. They typically have a diverse set of application requirements, and it is essential that we assist them in removing their technical selection and actualization roadblocks, enabling them to make product and system solution decisions expediently.
The Strategic Account Manager - FP is an energetic, motivated individual to be part of our sales efforts in helping our customers select and deploy various pneumatic, electronic, and fluidic controls solutions, whether it be at the component or the system level. We'll look to this individual to function as a business development expert, building relationships with customers throughout the territory.

As a Strategic Account Manager, you are the face of the organization who applies soft skills and diverse product expertise to:
- Build and grow earnings by developing repeat relationships.
- Use a consultative selling approach when calling on engineers, purchasing, and others to sell solutions by learning about customers’ applications and understanding their needs.
- Partner with manufacturer reps and our support team to help specify/select products/systems that will enhance customer experience.
- Expand solutions and product offering in existing accounts
- Identify and penetrate new accounts
- Unearth new product sales opportunities
- Follow up and convert website and supplier leads to active sales opportunities
- Prepare quotes and proposals, follow up and negotiate terms, and close transactions
- Organize and conduct training sessions for customers, survey market and competitive conditions
- Complete reports regarding itineraries, expenses, sales calls, leads and other related reports
- Monitor customer complaints, follow up on outstanding orders, and make emergency calls, night calls, and deliveries as required
- Track all sales activity and opportunities in CRM system
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years automation sales experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Basic computer skills
- Hands-on product demonstrations for customers and prospects; mechanical aptitude
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
Preferred:
- Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business
- 7 years of sales experience in similar industries
In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated total compensation for this position is $190,000 - $250,000 per full year depending on experience. This includes salary and a guarantee. After coming off of the guarantee, you will earn salary and commission. All full-time associates are eligible for typical employment benefits expected from an industry leader (including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, life insurance, time off, employee assistance, etc.).

Salary : $190,000 - $250,000
