910 Media Group is seeking an Audience Development Manager who will be responsible for developing strategies and playbooks to grow audiences and monetize those audiences across all of 910 Media Groups channels including print, broadcast, web, email, newsletters and first party data. In addition to growing audiences, this role will work closely with our editorial, sales and product teams to further develop our existing audiences by evolving the subscriber journey, implementing new retention strategies and increasing reader engagement. This role is crucial in expanding our reach, deepening connections with our audience, and fostering a vibrant community around our journalism.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of a comprehensive audience development strategy to drive organic reach and audience growth.
- Grow audiences for newsletters and lead overall paywall strategy, identifying opportunities and optimal methods for audience capture, and develop tactics to increase engagement across all platforms.
- Work with sales and marketing to develop new strategies and products to generate new revenue from social platforms.
- Manage editorial relationships with key digital platforms and news aggregators like Apple News, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
- Lead Newsroom conversations around audience growth, engagement initiatives and best practices.
- Create new reports and dashboards to enhance our ability to track our digital growth initiatives.
- Leverage data to derive insights, developing and implementing actionable strategies that drive impact and scalability.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an audience development or growth marketing role preferably at a digital/advertising/publishing company.
- A proven track record of working cross-functionally across multiple departments and teams.
- A love for numbers and data and the ability to present to ideas to various audiences
- Translate stake holder insights and goals into actionable strategies and initiatives.
