We are seeking an experienced Senior Brand Strategist to join our Trajectory team in our Chicago office. As the Senior Brand Strategist, you will be responsible for bringing consumer insights to the forefront of our clients marketing solutions. This versatile strategist will uncover key insights and design strategic recommendations to build more meaningful connections between a brand and the customers it serves.
Responsibilities:
- Understand business, category and cultural dynamics around our clients brands to inspire creative solutions
- Turn information and knowledge into actionable strategies
- Identify emerging cultural trends that fuel powerful, unexpected briefs
- Build sound strategic frameworks including creative briefs, brand positioning and brand and message architectures to establish a strong campaign foundation
- Create comprehensive communications plans and content strategies to ensure cohesive and impactful messaging across channels
- Partner closely with Research, Data Science & Analytics, Creative, Account Management and Media teams to design overarching strategies across disciplines
- Interface directly and develop trusting relationships with clients
Position Requirements:
- Bachelors degree with a minimum 3-5 year(s) of experience
- Previous agency experience strongly preferred
- Willingness to work on tobacco products
- Strong concise creative and business writing skills
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with experience engaging mid- to senior-level clients
- Ability to collaborate across all teams (media creative analytics insights)
- Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills are required
- Contributes to a positive team work environment
- Up to 20% travel may be required
