Civil construction firm is looking for a highly motivated Office Assistant with an opportunity for advancement to join our team. This role will require the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and show flexibility to change direction when needed. Candidate will answer multiline phones and take detailed phone records, create spreadsheets and correspondence, maintain project records and filing. Drive company vehicle on business related errands. There is room to grow in this position.
- Provide support to office and field associates.
- General office administration
- Track and assist in completion of deadlines and follow up on outstanding items
- General office administration including but not limited to: printing, scanning, and filing
- Answering multi-line phone, screening calls to route to appropriate personnel
- Taking detailed phone records
- Perform work with attention to accuracy, detail, and allocation of time to promote productivity
Requirements:
- AA in business or accounting or equivalent experience
- Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel
- Adobe Acrobat DC and Illustrator a plus
- Good communication, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to Multitask While Meeting Deadlines
- Ability to work effectively alone and with a team
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License
Essential Job Duties:
- Be able to work under pressure caused by tight deadlines.
- Be able to accept additional responsibilities, as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
