Armed Security Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a strong presence, excellent conflict management skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. The Armed Security Officer will work closely with law enforcement and other security personnel to ensure the highest level of safety.

Indoor Post, and the hours are 7am to 4pm. Weekends and Holidays off.

Duties

• Patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to identify potential security breaches.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Conduct thorough inspections of premises, ensuring all security protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations for future reference.
• Engage in conflict management techniques to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.

Experience

• Proven ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail in identifying potential threats or vulnerabilities.
• Firearms experience.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
