CDL Septic Pump Truck Operator

Work Location: Auburn, WA

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour Commission Opportunities Bonus Opportunities
Expected Hours: 35 – 50 per week

Overview:

• No Experience Required: Willing to train! Must have the ability to obtain a CDL with the proper endorsements.
• Apprenticeship Program: No pump truck experience? Get paid to learn! (Compensation differs from experienced applicants.)

Septic Pump Truck Operator Duties:

• Operate Commercial VAC Trucks (10-18 speed manual transmission) to safely transport liquid waste.
• Utilize Technology for dispatching and documentation throughout the day.

• Deliver Excellent Customer Service while interacting with residential customers.

• Work Independently & Collaboratively to complete jobs efficiently.
• Use Analytical Thinking to troubleshoot and resolve septic system issues.
• Perform Physical Labor, including handling hoses, locating and uncovering septic tank lids, and other manual job-related tasks.
• Flexible Scheduling: Must be available for nights, weekends, and emergency call-outs as needed.
• Operate Tools Safely & Efficiently.
• Commit to Continuous Learning, including obtaining certifications.
• Demonstrate a Positive Attitude and a willingness to work long hours.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• CDL B (Required) 
  • CDL A (Preferred)
• Tanker Endorsement (Required)
• Medical Examiners Certificate Required: Must be valid and registered with the Department of Licensing.
• Must be 23 years or older to qualify for company driver policy insurance.
• Clean Driving Record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to Pass a Road Test in a commercial vehicle.
• Strong Work Ethic & Reliability: Willing to work long hours and handle physical tasks.
• Willingness to Learn & Obtain Certifications, including those required by WOSSA.

Work Location:

• Local- Pierce County and South King County
• May service: Kitsap, Lewis, Thurston, and Mason on occasions
