Description
The Human Resource Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations. The Human Resource Coordinator will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization's human resource departments. The Human Resource Coordinator makes that certain plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and that plan provisions are followed. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
Objectives of this role
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. Ensure compliance with local and national regulations and applicable employment laws.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provides clerical support to the HR department, including employment verifications.
- Prepare paperwork and schedules for smooth new-hire onboarding process including Driver files, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver exceptional first-day experience
- Handle administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, uniform inventory management, and data entry in human resources information system, Paylocity. Assists with new hire orientation and on-boarding process.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees related to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Assists with the execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
- Suggest new procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of the HR department and company
- Performs other duties as assigned.
