Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can support the HR department in ensuring smooth and effective business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Employee Relations: Address employee inquiries and issues, mediate conflicts, and ensure a positive work environment.
- Compliance: Ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Benefits Administration: Oversee employee benefits programs, including enrollment, claims resolution, and communication of benefits information.
- Performance Management: Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal programs and employee development plans.
- HR Policies: Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
- Training and Development: Coordinate and conduct employee training sessions and orientation programs.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to support decision-making processes.
- Experience: Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, with a strong understanding of HR practices and procedures.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
