Payroll / Human Resources Clerk
Payroll / Human Resources Clerk Job Description:
· Shift time: 7:00 am- 5:00 pm Monday- Friday
· Processes and maintains payroll information, including compensation, time worked, deductions, taxes, and address changes.
· Ensures accurate payroll deductions and compliance with tax regulations.
· Reconciles payroll with the general ledger, bank statements, and benefit invoices.
· Administers employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, and COBRA; handles enrollments, changes, terminations, and compliance with federal/state laws.
· Manages HRIS for new hires, time and attendance, and leave requests.
· Conducts employee onboarding and communicates payroll and benefits details.
· Audits and maintains accurate HR, payroll, and benefits records; identifies and resolves discrepancies.
· Supports recruitment, including job postings and interview coordination.
· Creates and files reports as needed.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Payroll / Human Resources Clerk Qualifications:
· 2 years of payroll and HR administration experience
· 2 years’ experience using QuickBooks payroll.
· HRIS experience; compensation and benefits experience preferred
· Uncompromising ethics and confidentiality required
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong math and problem-solving skills
· Meticulous and precise attention to detail
