Team Member Management :
- Directs work of IT help desk staff to ensure timely and effective ticket management to resolve internal customer issues and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Recruits, interviews, and selects qualified IT team members assigned.
- Defines roles and responsibilities of team members and work teams.
- Administers personnel actions and enforces personnel policies and procedures.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for assigned team members.
- Identifies and facilitates training and professional development opportunities for team members to support skill development.
Department Management :
Assists the Director of Information Technology in formulating and implementing policies, procedures, and standards.Works collaboratively with divisions and departments to coordinate IT availability, performance management, and capacity planning issues; ensures timely, accurate, and prompt turnaround of work orders / requests.Designs, implements and manages customer support models that address and resolve AB Data's needsMonitors workload statistics in support of achieving service level agreement goals and reviews plans for remodeling or requests for telecommunications and data communications services requirements.Coordinates reviews and analyzes proposal requests, ensuring compliance with technical specifications from divisions and departments.Identifies opportunities to develop systems to enhance operational efficiencies; evaluates and recommends new tools and methodologies to expedite or enhance IT.Oversees the inventory and reconciliation of all newly procured technology materials and ensures accurate product tracking and delivery to the appropriate requesting department. Maintains detailed and up-to-date records of all technology purchases.Assists in preparing, monitoring, and administering the budget for the department, including staffing, equipment, and supplies.Acts on behalf of the Director of Information Technology in their absence as directed.Education and Experience :
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification preferred.Five years of relevant IT support work experienceRequired Skills / Abilities :
Advanced computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Work, Excel, PowerPoint).Knowledge of various operating systems, security access, operations security, and database services.Knowledge and understanding of enterprise, network, systems / endpoint, application and data protection issues and security risks.Well-developed leadership skills in a matrix organization structure.Solid project management skills.Ability to work effectively within a culturally diverse environment.Ability to understand and lead technical resources.Salary Range : $110,000 to $140,000
