Description
The Warehouse Associate will assist in various tasks around the Warehouse and help pick product.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm- This position is Seasonal, but has potential for Full Time based on performance.
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all company policies and state and federal regulations.
- Projects a positive image to all, consistent with company expectations.
- Physically counts in truck each morning and compares with load sheet
- Deliver product from Warehouse to Warehouse
- Delivers product orders as written to designated A&B Warehouses
- Performs all rotation, stocking & merchandising delivery functions as directed
- Maintain company assigned equipment and vehicles.
- Understand and comply with all quality assurance guidelines and policies of A&B distributors and its suppliers
- Follows all requirements written in Associate Handbook.
- Proven ability to build rapport with clients.
- Complete all assigned training in a timely manner.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 years Driving Experience
- 1 customer service, retail, sales, or service industry experience
- Me be able to qualify for ABLE Commission License
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read, understand and interpret sales figures, discounts, and margins
- Smart phone to use mobile applications required for the position
Preferred:
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Knowledge of sales applications within ERP software (i.e. Encompass).
- Experience with the Distribution Industry
- 2 years of customer service, retail, sales, or service industry experience
Physical Requirements:
Ability to routinely lift 35 – 75 lbs. and occasionally may be called upon to handle items, with assistance, weighing up to 165 lbs, climb, reach and perform various physical maneuvers to perform the essential functions of the job.
