JOB SUMMARY:
The front desk clerk/receptionist performs routine clerical, secretarial, and administrative work in receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing, ordering office supplies, and taking calls as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Develops and maintains office forms and procedures and assists with administrative tasks.
2. Responsible for handling Nextiva One, our telephone service company, by constantly updating information as required (i.e., calls routings, voicemail recordings, employee names, changes in extension numbers, greetings etc.) Directs calls accordingly.
3. Greets customers and answers questions, in person and by telephone; responds to inquiries from employees, customers, and others and refers, when necessary, to the appropriate person, official, or department.
4. Operates listed office machines as required.
5. Prepares outgoing mail; sorts and distributes incoming mail. Orders mail stamps as necessary.
6. Scans and attaches sales tickets to each sales order on a daily basis.
7. Enters credit card payments on CC machine and sales tickets.
8. Responsible for sending documents and other materials through UPS, USPS, FEDEX, or any other preferred carrier. Knows how to handle next day deliveries for emergencies.
9. Composes, types, and edits correspondence, reports, memorandums, and other material.
10. Assists the public with the use of department facilities.
11. Maintains office supply inventory and orders supplies as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Position operates in a professional office environment. Involves sitting and answering the telephone. Role requires proficiency with computer systems, copy machines, and phones.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS

2. Self-motivated, energetic, goal-oriented, with a strong work ethic and a sense of urgency.
3. Strong communication skills in addition to excellent interpersonal sales skills.
4. High School diploma/GED or College Preferred.
5. Learns and demonstrates an ability to organize electronic and paper-based information

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
