A Body & Mind Health Services, LLC is seeking to employ a Intake Coordinator with our mental health agency. We embrace physical fitness, nutrition, outdoor activities, and community involvement as a core principle and culture of our mental health counseling services. We select the best evidence-based methods to help our clients recover, because true health and happiness comes from treating the person, not just their symptoms. We are seeking self-driven individuals looking to make a difference in the community by providing support to those with a mental illness.
Job duties-
Connecting with new and returning clientele.
Build a trusting relationship with clientele to ensure needs are met and to de-escalate if necessary.
Serve as a liaison for clients and mental health professionals of ABM services requested.
Verifying insurance and edibility.
Scheduling appointments and walking clientele through intake with our EHR system Best Notes.
Tracking clientele as they begin to receive services to ensure that all services requested are being provided.
Provide resources and referrals to other agencies, as necessary.
Create weekly reports to provide to department supervisors on services rendered.
Serve as a liaison for client and supervisors to ensure best fitting providers.
Continual communication with client until all services requested are being provided and ongoing.
Ongoing communication with community referral sources to ensure quality client care.
Additional projects and assistance in other areas of the office as assigned by the Clinical Administrator.
Other duties as assigned or necessary to support the program and/or the company
Must have a High School Diploma or GED with computer or business courses. CPR/First Aid certification * Three to four years administrative assistant, secretarial or office experience with a working knowledge of modern office methods and procedures including filing systems, accounting practices, receptionist and telephone techniques, and letter and report writing. Bilingual in Spanish, preferred.
