Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
- Support clients with household tasks including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health or living situations.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients.
- Adhere to all care plans and company policies to ensure the highest level of care and service.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
- Completion of a basic aide training program or equivalent, meeting state requirements.
- State registration as required.
- Updated CPR/First Aid certification and TB Test.
- Reliable means of transportation.
- Ability to safely lift, move, or transfer clients, ensuring no harm to the client or self.
- Evidence of fulfilling state health requirements.
