Our call center team plays a large role in the patients’ first impression. Listed below are the specific duties and requirements for the position:
Job Duties
- Responsible for answering phones and scheduling patients in multiple clinics.
- Responsible for virtual communications with patients through our online scheduling software.
- Responsible for routine phone calls include welcoming patients, reminding patients of appointments, and maintaining patients’ recurring preventative care visits.
- Ensures patient information gets properly entered, handed off in a timely manner, and remains protected in compliance with HIPAA.
- Collects/posts payments by allocating funds accordingly.
- Maintains effective communication amongst team/patients and be able to resolve discrepancies/conflict in a reputable manner.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Dental experience preferred but not required
- 1 year or more office experience
- Customer service or patient relations experience
- Must be able to adapt easily, multi-task, and be efficient in a fast-paced environment
- Professional phone etiquette
