Day Treatment is a service designed to serve children who, as a result of their mental health or substance use disorder treatment needs, are unable to benefit from participation in academic services at a developmentally appropriate level in a traditional school setting. A Qualified Professional provides intensive therapeutic services in our Day Treatment program within the Buncombe County School System in Asheville, NC. We are looking for someone who feels they have strengths in running groups, being part of a team, and teaching coping and social skills in a classroom setting. Hours are most typically school hours with flexibility around completing paperwork.

Education And Experience Required
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Special Education, or other closely related Human Services area.
- Associate Professional - One (1) year of professional experience with the child mental health population.
- Qualified Professional - Two (2) years of professional experience with the child mental health population.

- Utilize knowledge of clinical processes to achieve positive outcomes to include evaluation, assessment, service, treatment planning, trauma-focused models and intervention techniques, aftercare, and transition planning.
- Manage an assigned caseload and meet the direct care billable productivity expectations of the organization.
- Maintain accurate service and billing record documentation that clearly communicates the services provided and consumer progress.
- Ability to perform tasks on the computer including working with Microsoft 360, Excel, Word, and other basic programs.
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance coverage, and reliable transportation.
- Pass criminal background checks and other regulatory checks.
