We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to improve production efficiency, optimize manufacturing processes, and ensure high-quality output. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lean manufacturing, process improvement, and automation. This role involves working closely with design, quality, and production teams to enhance workflows, reduce costs, and implement innovative manufacturing solutions.Key Responsibilities : -Process Optimization : Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.-Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement : Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to optimize production workflows.-Automation & Equipment Upgrades : Evaluate, recommend, and integrate new automation technologies and manufacturing equipment.-Production Support : Provide engineering support to resolve production issues, reduce downtime, and improve throughput.-Quality Control & Compliance : Ensure processes meet ISO, OSHA, and industry standards, conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions for quality defects.-Cost Reduction : Identify opportunities for material savings, process efficiencies, and operational cost reductions.-Work Instructions & Documentation : Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and technical documentation.-Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with design, supply chain, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.-Testing & Validation : Conduct process validation, capability studies, and risk assessments (FMEA) to ensure reliable production performance.Required Qualifications : -Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.-Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.-Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for designing tooling and layouts.-Familiarity with ERP / MRP systems for production planning.-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.-Understanding of automation, robotics, and PLC-controlled systems (preferred).Preferred Qualifications : -Six Sigma Green / Black Belt certification.-Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or FDA regulations.-Knowledge of additive manufacturing (3D printing) or Industry 4.0 technologies.-Experience in automotive, aerospace, medical devices, or high-volume manufacturing.Work Environment : -Factory / production floor and office settings.-Requires hands-on work with manufacturing equipment and occasional travel for vendor visits or project implementation.-Exposure to machinery and industrial environments, requiring adherence to safety protocols.
