Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Associate to join our dynamic IT team. This role will involve a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Responsibilities
Technical Support :
Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, Microsoft Teams, ScreenConnect Cloud, and in-person.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to Windows PCs, Apple MacBooks, iOS and Android devices.
Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment.
Maintain and troubleshoot company-issued mobile devices.
Provide support for common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, email, web browsers).
System Administration :
Assist with the administration and maintenance of user accounts, groups and devices using Microsoft Entra ID and Intune
Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
Perform routine system maintenance tasks, such as updates, security patches, and backups.
Assist with the deployment and support of new technologies and software.
EDI System Management :
Manage the configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of the company's EDI systems.
Develop and implement new EDI integrations with trading partners.
Conduct regular audits and validations of EDI transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to EDI transactions, system errors, or connectivity problems.
Act as the primary point of contact for trading partners regarding EDI-related matters.
Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams on EDI processes and procedures.
Project Assistance :
Assist with IT projects, including implementation, testing, and deployment.
Contribute to the documentation and knowledge base.
Security and Compliance :
Adhere to IT security policies and procedures.
Assist with security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Report security incidents and take appropriate action.
Knowledge of UNFI networking, SentinelOne endpoint protection, and Mimecast email protection is preferred.
Collaboration :
Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Work closely with end-users to understand their needs and provide timely solutions.
Requirements
Vocational or college course work in Information Technology, or a related field.
2 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including hardware, software, and networking.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations / TrueCommerce EDI experience is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications :
IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Network , Security )
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell)
Experience with cloud computing technologies (e.g., Azure
