Onsite Position : In Office – some local travel to sites in area
Will be based in Southeast Houston – zip code 77004
Compensation : $25-26 hourly based on experience and qualifications
This role provides technical, analytical, and administrative assistance to the company. A main task will be to distribute workstations to new hires and help with hardware and software upgrades to existing employees as needed. You will also troubleshoot and problem solve IT-related issues to help the company create and maintain an effective working environment.
Essential Functions
- Processes critical EOM functions on multiple servers
- Performs new PC deployments
- Performs server checks and minor administration of ERP applications on company servers
- Performs administration of critical cloud-based services : PC backups, security software, etc.
- Installs software and repairs hardware as needed
- Resolves IT helpdesk tickets as needed
- Consults with managers and employees to determine hardware and software needs
- Trains employees on new software as needed
- Maintains system capabilities by testing computer components
- Documents processes
- Performs regular diagnostic tests
