Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain order and discipline.
- Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and special education needs.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
- Supervise students during various school activities, including recess, lunch, and field trips.
- Support extracurricular activities such as tutoring, sports coaching, or camps as needed.
Requirements
- BSAC certification preferred.
- Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in classroom management and early childhood education principles.
- Knowledge of first aid practices is a plus.
- Ability to create inclusive lesson plans that cater to students with special needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a nurturing learning environment.
- Experience in tutoring or sports coaching is an advantage.
