A. Duie Pyle, Inc. is committed to developing future leaders through our six-month accelerated training program. The Leadership Development Career Path is designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in a leadership role.
Program Overview
The program begins with on-the-job training at the participant's closest Pyle terminal, where they will learn about freight handling and our less-than-truckload (LTL) business. Over the next six months, participants will gain valuable hands-on experience working various shifts on our dock and riding along in our trucks. They will also spend time in our corporate office engaging with and learning from our senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Participants will shadow Pyle leaders to develop leadership skills through on-the-job experiences, project assignments, and formal training.
- They will understand the importance of teamwork and how all team members and roles impact the operation.
- Participants will participate in classroom-style learning to develop industry and company knowledge and develop professional relationships with high-level leadership.
- They will perform several different positions and work on various shifts to gain hands-on experience.
