What are the responsibilities and job description for the Punch Press Set-up Operator position at A&E Incorporated?
Eckmann Custom Products, a Division of A & E Incorporated, located in Racine, WI, is seeking Punch Press Setup/Operators for 1st shift (7am-3:30pm). Our Operators set up, run and maintain a wide variety (30-ton to 500-ton) of press machines. Experience in setting up manual punch presses, changing dies or other machining setup experience is required. These positions offer growth and development and a competitive salary and benefits package.
NOTE: Eckmann is a union facility but employees are not required to join the union. Employees are required to enroll in the comprehensive health plan regardless of union status. Job may include a 90-day temp-to-hire review period.
Skills/Requirements:
- Prefer a minimum of 3 years punch press experience
- Prior experience with manual punch press required
- For Setup: Must have experience with progressive and compound dies
- Experience with automatic coil operation and loading coils
- Strong shop math skills
- Able to work standing 100% of the time and lift up to 50lbs

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
