Sheet Metal shop Worker

We are seeking sheet metal workers to join our team. As a team member, you will be responsible for performing various duties related to metal fabrication. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with precision.

Job requirements include performing, but are not limited to performing the items listed below:

- Operate and maintain equipment, such as a trim folder, metal roofing rollformers, and cut-to-length machines

-Manual packaging of metal roofing sheets into bundles to be transferred via forklift and loaded onto customers vehicle

- Operation of forklifts

- Operation of computer-controlled metal folding machine, rollformer, and sheet metal sheer

- Safe and proper loading and unloading of vehicles and trailers ect. with or without the use of a forklift

- The ability to lift and carry 75 lbs. for a distance of at least 75 feet

- The ability to manually stock inventory and keep inventory stock levels maintained

- Be willing and capable to work on your feet for at least an 8 hour shift, with physical activities including but not limited to walking, bending, lifting, and squatting

- Keeping the workplace and warehouse safe, clean, and organized

- Treat customers and fellow employees with courtesy and respect

- Read a tape measure

- Read, interpret, and execute work orders

-Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision

- Excellent problem-solving skills

Expected hours: 40 – 43 per week
