The Master's Lawn & Pest, a rapidly growing and customer-focused landscaping company in Gainesville, FL, is looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to lead our landscape installation team with the goal of transitioning into a Branch Manager role in 2026. This is a leadership position with a strong focus on operations, business growth, team leadership, and financial management. This role is designed as a steppingstone to Branch Manager. Initially, you will manage the Install team, overseeing project execution and operational efficiency. Over time, you will take on additional leadership responsibilities, including overseeing more teams, managing financial performance, and driving business growth in a branch.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with deep expertise in landscape installation and a passion for growing a business. You're proactive, organized, and able to coach and develop a high-performing team while maintaining strong client relationships. You take ownership of challenges and are eager to step into a Branch Manager role in the near future.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations: Manage daily operations, oversee scheduling, ensure job completion, and maintain service quality.
- Subcontractor Oversight: Coordinate and manage subcontractors on-site, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and safety procedures are followed.
- Business Growth: Develop client relationships, manage existing accounts, and drive revenue through upsells of complementary services such as irrigation, enhancements, drainage, and seasonal clean-ups
- Team Leadership & Training: Train, mentor, and support the growth of team members, creating clear career paths and opportunities for advancement. Implement structured onboarding and ongoing development programs.
- Financial Reporting & Management: Track revenue, expenses, and profitability, ensuring projects stay within budget and align with financial goals.
- Community & Industry Engagement: Represent the company at local industry events, network with potential clients, and stay updated on landscaping trends.
- Equipment, Safety & Resource Management: Oversee maintenance of tools, equipment, and inventory to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Process Improvement: Identify ways to improve job site efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance team workflows.
