FLSA: Hourly/Non-Exempt (Class I)
Hours: 1830-2230 (Mon-Fri), 1830-2030 (Sat)
$21.45/hour

Nature and Scope of Position
The Service Worker is responsible for the cleaning and fueling of all district vehicles.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Report to work on time and in proper uniform as determined by Connect
- Safely operate all tools and machinery required to perform work duties
- Maintain a strong attendance record
- Communicate effectively.
- Maintain a good rapport with the general public and all employees.
- Detailed cleaning of all district vehicles
- Follow company safety and operational rules and procedures.
- Special projects related to cleaning vehicles
- Report safety and personnel problems to Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor in a timely manner
- Maintain proper cleaning supply inventory at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Relationships
The Service Worker is directly supervised by the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor.
Working Conditions
Varied Environment – This position will be subject to occasional heavy lifting, bending, stooping, standing, high noise levels, and vehicle fumes. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions. Must be able to work on snow and ice-covered ground.
