Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the finance department, including loan processing and title processing for automotive sales.
- Utilize financial software to maintain accurate records and generate reports.
- Collaborate with dealership staff to facilitate smooth transactions and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, prepare forecasts, and make informed recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in training staff on financial processes and best practices.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met throughout the financing process.
- Perform basic math calculations accurately for contract preparation and deal structuring.
- Support the sales team by providing timely financial information and assistance as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role within the automotive industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with loan officer duties and title processing is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in financial software applications and tools such as DealerTrack, Dealer Center, Route 1, etc.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate calculations in contract management.
- Knowledge of dealership operations and sales processes is a plus.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills to foster positive interactions with clients.
- Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for data entry tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex financial information clearly.
