Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate Home Health Aides to provide essential care and support to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care, patient care, and possess a strong understanding of medical documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Administer medication under the direction of a nurse or physician
- Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions
- Perform housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dusting, and vacuuming
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Help with catheter care, tube feeding, and dementia care as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience in senior care or a related field
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical privacy practices
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred
