FUNCTION: Act as primary factory sales representative for A.L.P. Lighting to selected OEM accounts within their territory.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the successful achievement of market development, revenue and profitability goals for A.L.P. as defined by VP Sales.
- Participate in Lean events and initiatives to support a culture of continuous improvement.
- Assist in the development, presentation and maintenance of pricing and promotional programs.
- Responsible for the accurate, complete and timely presentation of required reporting including but not limited to monthly-market condition; changes in sales, pipeline, opportunities, impediments to growth and competition; annual-market condition and opportunity assessment for region; maintain account records in CRM sales database.
- Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products and services
- Acquire a thorough knowledge of all A.L.P. products, services and capabilities.
- Host customer visits at A.L.P. facilities.
- Responsible for any other special projects as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or 5 years related industry experience
- General knowledge of plastics processing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal skills
LOCATION/TRAVEL:
- Live within the assigned territory
- Travel expected to be close to 50%, including time at A.L.P. factories
